Troubleshooting a SolarEdge system with a built-in cellular connection

Your SolarEdge inverter uses an internal cellular device to connect your solar energy system to the internet. Internal means the device is built directly into the inverter itself, and usually requires a technician to visit your home in order to fix it. That being said, we’re going to have you try one thing to see if we can help you get your system back online.

1. Go over to your AC Disconnect.
  1. Turn it off.

  2. Wait 30-seconds.

  3. Turn it back on.

  1. Turn it off.

  2. Wait 30-seconds.

  3. Turn it back on.

That’s really about all we can do with that one. Roughly 24-48 hours after you’ve run through the troubleshooting steps, we recommend that you check your system production by logging into account.vivintsolar.com.

If you still don’t see your production results after 48-hours, Contact Us and let us know which steps you took to try and troubleshoot the issue. We’ll send someone out who can help.
