Our Mission (the real reason we’re here)

When a typical Vivint Solar workday comes to an end, we pack up our desks and return home to our (insert all that apply: families, dogs, cats, Playstation 4) just like everyone else. Some of us spend our free time playing sports or hitting the slopes while others bring out their inner Van Gogh. But no matter how different our interests are outside of Vivint Solar, we can all agree on one thing: we’re working toward a greater purpose with solar power.

When we understand the importance of clean energy, working at Vivint Solar becomes more than just a 9-5 job, it’s our opportunity to give back to our earth. Without a clean environment, we wouldn’t be able to hear that satisfying swoosh of a 3-pointer or feel the cool breeze on our face as we glide down a snowy mountain.

As humans, we recognize that just like we’re different in our interests and hobbies, we’re different in our environmental efforts too—and that’s okay. As humans, our goal is to work towards a cleaner earth one day at a time. One home at a time. Because helping homeowners choose clean power helps all of us. And the more opportunities we can provide, the faster we’ll reach that goal.

And not just for today either. We want our future children and grandchildren to be able to experience the same opportunities we currently have on this beautiful planet. This greater purpose is what helped us redefine our company mission—the real reason we do what we do.
